As residents will know the sale of The Rosemary Centre has been completed and, as many of our more senior residents will know, this was the site of the Village National/Primary School before the new school in Common Lane was opened in the early 1970s.

Jean Radford, the Parish's local historian, is researching the full history of the old National School located in the Victorian building in High Road and would be pleased to receive memories from any former pupil of their time at the School or any photographs they may still have. Jean can be contacted by e-mail to or telephoning 01322 221056.

Jean is hoping to put on a small display at the Wilmington Society stand at this year's Wilmington Fair on August Bank Holiday Momnday (26th August)
