Thanks to a generous grant secured by Councillor Avtar Sandhu through the Kent County Members Community Fund the Parish Council has been able to replace a number of rotted or damaged noticeboards. The above images are of new noticeboards installed at various sites across the Parish; in addition to which new glazing is going into the noticeboard opposite Wilmington Memorial Hall whilst Mark, the Parish Groundsman, has repainted the in the Village Centre and cleaned the one at The Orange Tree to give them a new lease of life. With regard to the noticeboard outside Wilmington Stores the legs had rotted making the structure unsound, it has therefore been removed but not replaced at the present time.

The Parish Council is extremely grateful to County Councillor Sandhu for facilitating the Grant which provided the majority of the funding for the project.

Please note that whilst the Parish noticeboards are not 'open' for anyone to use, the Council is more than willing to display details of any local event or non-commercial activity in the Parish anyone wishing to do so is invited to send details/posters to the Parish Clerk by e-mail to clerk-wpc@outlook.com
