Tree Planting

The Parish Council is delighted to report that, as part of Chalcraft Nurseries involvement in the community through the Company's commitment to 'a greener future', four Alder trees have been donated and planted in Oakfield Park.

An extract from a policy statement on the Chalcraft Nurseries website the Company reads 'We recognise our responsibility to safeguard the environment for future generations'.

The Parish Council looks forward to see the trees flourish in their new home and are extremely grateful to Chalcraft Nurseries for the addition to the green canopy within Oakfield Park.

The Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Stacey Brown said - 'We are very grateful to Chalcraft Nurseries who have donated 3 Alder trees to the Parish, which have been planted at Oakfield Park, supporting the Parish’s ambitions to keep our communal and recreational areas thriving for the future'.
