Plans are already well underway for this year's Fair on Wilmington Common on August Bank Holiday Monday (25th August) with all of the usual attractions. Following the success of last year's 'Fun Dog Show' the event will again feature in 2025 with sponsorhip generously provided by Mead Road Vets whose support for this popular community event is greatly appreciated.

Booking Forms have started to be e-mailed to all of last year's stall holders but if any local Organisation or Charity wishes to promote its activities or if any Crafter wishes to sell their merchandise having not previously attended please e-mail the Parish Clerk at clerk-wpc@outlook.com who will arrange for the required Booking Form to be sent. The cost of a stall remains at just £12.00.

Last year the Parish Council was able to distribute over £1,000 to local Charities and Organisations from the proceeds of the Fair.

The Parish Council is grateful to the Fair Committee for once again taking on the organisation of this annual and anticipated event - now into its 40+ year. The Fair has not always been on the Common, in its early days it was held in a garden at the end of what is now Curates Close.
